2025 BADSA Novice & Encourage Trials - THANK YOU!
We've done it again! Off the back of the successful Trans Tasman trial and NSW Selection Trial, we've pulled together as a club and run another brilliant event - the Novice & Encourage Trials.
We had >160 dogs entered over the 2 trials. It was a mammoth effort to get through all of those dogs, and the finals with a little daylight left to spare on Sunday.
Despite Bungendore's reputation for uncharitable weather, we had 3 spectacular days of sunshine, no wind, no FOG, and a spectacular start to each day with the sun coming up over the frosty ground.
The bonus was having our new shed up and operational! No more pulling down the marquee, we now have a permanent space to utilise - there were some conversations over the weekend about what we might / want so we'll get to work on those as we make use of the shed and determine items to go in.
Once again I am overwhelmed with the dedication and support you've provided throughout the trial, whether spending time at the let out, timekeeping / scoring, providing catering, coming to the trial to cheer on the competitors or hanging around for conversation or even a few drinks at the end of the day.
Trials like these would not be as successful as they are without your contributions - the atmosphere at this trial was on another level!
To our 'unofficial patron', Paul - the club would not exist or survive without the work you put in behind the scenes in setting up the course, providing sheep, organising the Shed!! and supplying meat - we are so lucky to have your support.
Thank you to everyone who came along or was there in spirit! And congratulations to those members who gained a win or broke their status at the trial.
We look forward to seeing you all next year!
